At least the lady in the greenish blue shirt looked skeptical... there's still hope for her. ;P
Funny picture indeed...
But I disagree on the flat-hexane analysis... check the hydrogens: the C-H bonds are definitely not pointing all in the same direction, but actually show the expectes axial and equatorial positions...
BTW, the werewolf is merely using his morphogenetic powers to trigger a twisted boat conformation, counter-acted by a benevolent Snape-like spell from the girl-in-Gadalf-white-dress.
I think the girls in blue and green want to seduce the teacher. They are competing who can hold a pencil in the sexiest way (personally I think the blue one wins). The girl in white has given up already - if you follow her look you realise that she stares into nowhere...
ROFL!!!! I was laughing out loud when I read your text.
That picture made my day.
All the students seem normal to me.
Mitch
good one...i once saw an advertisement for some company in the atlanta airport, in which glucose was drawn with all hydroxyls axial.
Hah, Mr. Teacher forgot to tuck his shirt in in the back!
doesn't look flat to me. still funny though.
Haha...funny one Dan! anways, i just dropped by to say hi! kool blog dude!
It's the girl with the poisoned-tip pencil who's the real killer. See how she's looking at the werewolf guy?
The ring isn't flat.
As for the students, at least they have their eyes open (some of mine quickly sink down over their notebooks, but that's only when they show up).
But why is the blackboard behind the students?
LOL! You are funny!
Chemists are a funny bunch of people. I should know - I used to be one. Now I'm a pen-pusher and we're not funny :)
LOL!! Chemistry is getting interesting just because of this picture alone...
I think what the picture wants to convey is that the students are concentrating and thinking serious about what the teacher is talking about... in this case cyclohexane.
This picture could potentially be a lot worse...
And why are these people all so good-looking? I would've thought that at least one would look like a nerd.
